Statement Of Intent

NO OTHER love little reissue labels that put the music first and worry about sales afterwards. No Other adores psychedelia, garage, folk and country-rock, progressive, funky rock, orchestral pop, hard-rock, ’70s powerpop, soul and funk, chamber pop... and magazines and books that DON'T (always) put The Beatles on the cover!!! No Other is fanatical about quirky cinema, animation and music and culture documentaries. NO OTHER will also work with whatever you throw at us... Nothing is beyond us. Please email for rates.

We love the OLD and the NEW.

If you want to be treated with respect and have your PR campaigns last longer than one week. Contact us now... we're based in North London and happy to meet any prospective clients.

Watch The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople on Clash

Watch: Mott The Hoople Film Trailer - 16 Sep 2011 | Clash Music Latest Breaking Music News

'Ballad Of Mott The Hoople' forthcoming

A new trailer has emerged from the forthcoming documentary film 'The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople'.
Mott The Hoople didn't quite fit in anywhere. Too early for punk, the band were too tough for Glam and too poppy for Prog. Never quite achieving mainstream success, the group nonetheless left a deep and lasting impact on anyone who crossed their path.
Mick Jones of The Clash used to bunk off school to follow them around the country. Morrissey idolised the group, while David Bowie was moved to write them their biggest hit - the ode to teenage abandon that is 'All The Young Dudes'.
The band's story is set to be captured in the forthcoming film 'The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople'. Containing exclusive concert footage and interviews, the film will be released on DVD on October 10th.

Featuring interviews with the original members of Mott The Hoople - including reclusive singer Ian Hunter - 'The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople' comes complete with sleevenotes written by Morrissey.
A devoted fan of the group, the singer penned the following evocative phrase: “Savage history always passes judgment in due course, and here we are, in 2011, still studying Mott The Hoople.”
'The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople' is set to be released on October 10th.
